The club return to the White Peak for their next walk in the winter rambles programme. This will be a 10 mile circular walk with an optional addition to the ramble towards the end of the day. There should be a shorter option as well. New members are always most welcome and do not have to pay any coach fare on their first ramble with the club.
The ramble starts from Newhaven and heads south across fields to walk a section of the Tissington Trail. We continue southwards and eventually cross the A515 by a campsite to walk along Eatondale and then across a number of fields to our lunchtime destination, the neat limestone village of Parwich.. Refreshments available at the Sycamore Inn.
After lunch we turn north up Parwich Hill and go by Lowmoor Farm. Then pick up Cardlemeer Lane heading north west wards back to the A515 concluding the walk by following a footway alongside the A515 back to Newhaven.
Instead of Cardlemeer Lane there is the option to enjoy a longer walk by linking up with the High Peak Trail and cutting across Aleck Low back to Newhaven.
The coach will depart for home between 4.30 pm and 5.00pm
