Offerton Moor

This varied ten mile walk starts at Leadmill. We take the gate next to the bridge, head west across fields and up through Callow Wood.

Emerging from the wood head along the hillside to join the road past Offerton Hall. Here on our right there will be fantastic views of Hope Valley and the edges with a glimpse of Ladybower.

Continue on to join Shatton Lane past the mast on to Shatton Moor. We swing north onto Brough Lane and descend to Brough. We then start our return journey eastwards towards Shatton. The final leg follows the course of the River Derwent to Leadmill on the Derwent Valley Heritage Way. The coach will leave for home at 5 pm.

As always we would welcome any new walkers. There is no need to pre-book, just turn up at one of the following bus stops.
