Sutton-in-Ashfield and District Rambling Club

Welcome! We are a friendly rambling club with regular walks in the Peak District

Join us on one of our walks

May 2021 Update – Great News!

The club will be organising two walks – Sunday May 30th – Hathersage area. Sunday June 13th – Belper area.

These will be in line with government guidelines and due to social distancing required on the coach, will be limited to 25 people. Booking is essential and priority will be given to club members. A new programme of walks will be issued in due course, in line with guidelines prevailing at the time.

The Sutton-in-Ashfield and District Rambling Club was founded in 1931 and uses a coach to transport us predominantly to the glorious Peak District on alternate Sundays throughout the year. The coach removes the stress of driving, cuts the cost of motoring, is environmentally friendly and enables you to relax in a pleasant sociable atmosphere, especially coming back after a walk.

About the Club

The club caters for people with a range of fitness and ability. Often the club will split up into more than one group enabling the less energetic to go at a slower pace whilst the more active can add extra mileage but still arrive at the coach departure point on time.

Children can go free if accompanied by an adult and you’re welcome to sample two rambles before joining the rambling club.
