On Sunday (3rd) the members of the Sutton Rambling Club will be "spreading their wings" and heading for the delights of Farndale, (grid ref SE 635988) one of the most beautiful dales in the North Yorkshire Moors. It is an area renowned for a dazzling display of daffodils.
The walk will be a distance of approximately 10.5 miles. There will be a "comfort" stop en route and refreshments available halfway through the day. The coach will depart for home at 6.30 pm.
We continue to welcome new members. We can always offer healthy exercise,attractive scenery and friendly company.
The McEwens coach leaves the "Staff Of Life" pub on Hack Lane in Sutton-in-Ashfield at 9.15am and the Bancroft Lane end, Stockwell Gate (near the Netto supermarket) in Mansfield at 9.30am. There are other pick up points en route. The fare is £9, accompanied juniors free. There is no need to prebook your seat on the coach.
