A warm welcome from the Sutton-in-Ashfield and District Rambling Club.
The rambling club was founded in 1931 and uses a coach to transport us predominantly to the glorious Peak District, on alternate Sundays throughout the year. The coach removes the stress of driving, cuts the cost of motoring, is environmentally friendly and enables you to relax in a pleasant sociable atmosphere, especially coming back after a walk.
The club caters for people with a range of fitness and ability. Often the club will split up into more than one group enabling the less energetic to go at a slower pace whilst the more active can add extra mileage but still arrive at the coach departure point on time. Children can go free
if accompanied by an adult and you're welcome to sample two rambles before joining
the club. Diane Farmilo Photos of some of our previous walks in the Peak District and surrounding area. |
